After one and a half year or research, development and testing we present you the Intelli Powerbox, a sophisticated device that can electrically power all of your astro equipment. It is fully remote pc controllable using the bluetooth v2 technology and it can provide to you readings and metrics about major environmental & power aspects you need in the field (in the mountains or inside your observatory).

Intelli Powerbox is just the answer to many observatory power requirements. period.

GPS receiver is an optional accessory pre-installed in the heart of the powerbox and can report the exact date & time, altitude and coordinates of your current location.

• More than 30A of total power

You can connect our 12V power pack which can deliver at about 8-10A of current. If you trust your lead battery you can use it as the main power source. On the back of the device there is a Circular 2 pin power plug. .  Intelli Powerbox is designed to support and deliver more than 30A of total current.

• 4 x 12V Power outlets for your equipment

In the heart of the Intelli Powerbox there are four (4) powerful MOSFET capable to deliver 10 Amps of current each.  These power outlets are remote controllable from your laptop. You can switch them on (individually) or off at your request.

• 2 x Dew Heater Outlets

Two Pulse width modulation (PWM) outlets are capable to provide power to your “thirsty” Dew Heaters. No more moisture fuzzing your equipment and destroying your clear nights. These outlets can be remote controlled from your laptop using the supplied software

• 1 x 5V Power HUB outlet

This outlet can deliver at about 3A of current and is designed to provide stable voltage to your powered USB Hub

• 1 x DSLR Outlet

A 7.4 DC volt (max 1.5 Amps) outlet is suitable for your DSLR camera. Use a dummy battery pack and provide stable power to your camera. No more drained batteries in the middle of the night!

• 1 x Flatbox Outlet

Connect your flatbox to this outlet. Capable to deliver 1A of current. You can remote control the power level from your laptop. Save and restore brightness levels for every filter you use.

• Failsafe Cable Outlet Design 

A unique socket outlet has been installed for every different voltage. It is impossible to plug a different voltage source by mistake. After long time in the mountains we concluded this is the safest way when you are in the middle of “nowhere” trying to do astrophotography.  It can accidentally ruin all your available nights by frying out your equipment.  As an extra precaution power outlets securely lock by the circular/ GX16 Aviation socket.

• Built in Power Sensors

The device can provide, in real time, readings for voltage, current and power.  Graphs over time for voltage & current can be viewed in the supplied software.

• External Environment Sensor 

External one (1) meter temperature & relative humidity sensor is included in the package. Know exactly the environment conditions of your location. The sensor can automaticaly handle the dew heater outlets to adjust the power. Leave to Intelli Powerbox to decide if it is time to turn on your dew heaters!  Moreover, you can view the readings of  temperature, humidity and dew point in the supplied software. Graphs for temperature and humidity are also available.

• Multijack 2m Cable for 5V output

Choose the jack you need from  7 different types, suitable for your USB hub.

Built in Bluetooth Connectivity

Intelli Powerbox can be controlled by your PC / laptop’s  bluetooth. It supports bluetooth v2.1 and it does not require any driver. Just pair the i-powerbox-xxxx device and you are ready to connect through the supplied software.  In the nearest future we will release a mobile application (for android devices ) .

• Reverse Polarity Protection

Intelli Powerbox has been design with a reverse voltage polarity protection. It will definitely save your night if you accidentally connect the main power supply in reverse polarity!
